Senator Jeff Merkley is standing up against the Obama-McConnell tax bill:
"I have very strong concerns about the tax proposal before us and cannot support moving forward on the package as it now stands."
Take notes on how people vote and remember. Many progressives will cave on this, but there will be a few of conviction who JUST SAY NO!
This is like the Reagan tax cuts, the AUMF (although it is not an invasion), the Bush tax cuts, NAFTA. This is a vote that shows which side a person is on.
